Since receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 from the University of Minnesota, Bill has spent the last 30+ years in the Insurance and Financial Services field. He has created marketing programs and product strategies for clients, producers and financial organizations.
Bill is a licensed Insurance Agent, Registered Representative, and Investment Advisor Representative. He is the Owner and President of First Resource Group, Ltd., an Insurance and Investment firm located in Minnesota.

Jennifer joined the First Resource Group / FCS LifeExpress family in 2007. She is a licensed insurance agent and has been in the life insurance industry since 2003.
Jennifer’s responsibilities include office management, individual case management, marketing and customer service.

Prior to joining First Resource Group, Dean’s experience includes positions with The Hartford’s Advanced Business area, IDS in their Pension and Planning divisions. Dean enjoys taking clients to, and through retirement, and striving to help their dreams come true.

Joe lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with his wife, Yvonne and their Newfoundland dog. They have two sons; Josh and Aaron.
Steve Bullert

After spending over a decade as a college athletic administrator at Ohio State, St. Cloud State and UCLA, Steve has been helping individual and institutional investors define and achieve their financial goals since 1997. Prior to coming to First Resource Group, Steve was managing the personal trust department of a Twin Cities bank where he managed portfolios and came to embrace the fiduciary model.
Steve has a bachelor's degree in finance from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and a master's degree in education from The Ohio State University. He resides in North Oaks with his wife, Annie and their children Mitchell, Aveline, Gabrielle and Sasha.
Patricia “Trish” Lawson

Trish has spent the last 30 years in the Financial Services industry specializing in Life, Annuity, and Long Term Care Insurance. She has created marketing programs, provided product solutions, and has trained and supported sales efforts for Financial Professionals nationwide. She has focused the last 10 years doing risk mitigation consulting with Farm Credit Association Members nationwide through the FCS LifeExpress life insurance program. She especially enjoys her meaningful relationships with the Associations and their Members.
Doug Van Wyk

For the last 18 years, Doug Van Wyk has led the FCS LifeExpress team. His 30+ years of experience in life, health, and disability insurance has been key to building LifeExpress.
Doug enjoys creating relationships with FCS staff, and helping customers get the best value. Doug has been involved in training, developing best practices, and launching our new YouTube platform.
Doug lives in Lakeville, MN, with his wife Heather.

Doug Kauffman is a licensed insurance agent and valued team member of FCS LifeExpress. Doug has 30 years of background in sales, finance, and business building leadership. Doug is a great communicator, and knows what it takes to build solid relationships. He enjoys working with customers providing sound advice and customer service.
Doug and his wife Christy have 7 children and 6 grandchildren and they live in Apple Valley, MN. He is also involved with a ministry that he founded 14 years ago, called Hope360.
Kristina Kirsch
Senior FCS LifeExpress Case Manager
Kristina Kirsch is our Senior Case Manager for FCS LifeExpress as well as a licensed insurance agent. She keeps all our cases moving towards approval. Kristina has over 15 years of professional administrative experience, and does a great job keeping us organized! Kristina is responsible for a caseload of 50-100 applications at any given time. She handles exams, medical records, and many other underwriting issues that come up during the FCS LifeExpress process.
In her free time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband, her two adult children, time outdoors, and getting lost in a good book.
